The Glove
The gloves will allow us to interact in a VR environment, acting like controllers, accurately tracking the hands of the user.
With Sensors on each finger and a haptic feedback actuator at each finger tip, we are confident that the experience will be much more immersive when a user is able to use their own hands to interact with the environment.
First Prototype
Check out our first wearable implementation of the glove.
Using two IMU's on the thumb we are able to track its full orientational data.
When the model thumb touches the red box, haptic feedback on the thumb-tip alerts the wearer of the collision.
